DocumindAI is a grounded document question-answering product for individuals and organizations. You upload your files, ask questions in natural language, and receive answers with citations back to the source passages. When the evidence is not there, DocumindAI refuses to guess.

What DocumindAI does

DocumindAI helps you search and question your own document libraries. It retrieves relevant passages, generates cited answers, and verifies claims against those sources before showing a response. Embedding, reranking, generation, and vector storage run on credentials you provide (Cohere and Pinecone). Document files can be stored in Google Cloud Storage that you control.

Why DocumindAI requests Google user data

Connecting Google Cloud is optional. If you choose Sign in with Google during Cloud Storage setup, DocumindAI asks for limited Google account access for one purpose only: provisioning document storage for your workspace.

• Identity (email) — confirm which Google account authorized setup.
• List GCP projects — let you pick the project for your bucket.
• Cloud Storage — create or select a bucket and set permissions.
• IAM — create a bucket-scoped service account so DocumindAI can upload and read your documents.

We do not use Google user data for advertising, resale, or to train generalized AI or ML models. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
